The Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) philosophy of the Siem group of companies is based upon international maritime rules, regulations and recognized industry standards and guidelines. The policy is supported by management commitment and visibility, personal accountability, training, fairness and performance measurement. To support our philosophy, we have designed and operate an integrated Business Management System (BMS).

  • Provide the resources, training and development to ensure that work is carried out safely, professionally and in full consideration of environmental protection, including preparing for emergencies related to safety and environmental protection.
  • Ensure identification of further training requirements to maintain the safety and quality in our services.
  • Require every employee to take personal responsibility for his/her own and others safety and towards meeting our HSEQ objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through tight cooperation with our customers in order to meet the expected or desired degree of customer requirement.

Everyone has the obligation to stop or delay activities that may place him/her or others at risk of being injured, or which could lead to harm to the environment or damage the equipment. Appropriate control mechanisms and mitigating measures shall be implemented prior to continuing operations.

Everyone working for Siem has a duty to comply with this HSEQ Policy in recognition of being held accountable for individual performance, and the performance of those working under our supervision. By doing so, we believe we will create a professional HSEQ culture and continuously improve our performance.
