It has come to our attention that several unemployed seafarers have been offered unsolicited job offers which at first sight seem to come from Siem Offshore. These job offers are made by scammers which have registered e-mail domains which are very similar to the official Siem Offshore mail domain. Scammers will offer seafarer a job in our company provided seafarer is paying cash in advance.   

This is unfortunately scam attempts and we would like to warn all job applicants that these offers are NOT coming from Siem Offshore.  

Do not reply and do not engage these scammers. Do not send back any personal identifying information and do not wire these scammers any money in advance for any reason whatsoever, as no legitimate shipping company will ever ask a job applicant for a cash advance payment.
