Wind contract secured for Siem Stingray

Siem Offshore has signed a six month contract with the energy giant GE Renewables.

The mission is scheduled to commence in April 2021, and is for a period of six months, with options for extension. GE Renewables is one of the leading providers of wind power solutions worldwide.

Bernt Omdal, CEO of Siem Offshore, says the contract confirms the company´s ability to deliver first class services to the offshore wind sector.  

­– This contract marks an important continuation of the strong commitment Siem Offshore has for serving the renewable energy segment. We are pleased to see that our versatile high end vessels are preferred by a key operator like GE Renewable Energy, says Omdal.

Since Siem Offshore´ s entrance into the offshore wind business, Siem Offshore has contributed with over 200,000 personnel transfers offshore, making the company a leading actor within this segment.
