Tor Asbjørn joined the team in the beginning of December, and he is excited about taking on his new role as HR Director in Siem Offshore.

– I look forward to using my experience and competence to further develop the Company together with talented colleagues, who I look forward to getting to know better, he says.

Tor Asbjørn is well experienced in the HR field. For the past ten years he has worked in OSM Maritime Group, where he for the last three years was the Marine HR director. Before that, he was the HR manager in Elkem Solar, responsible for the operating organization.

In Siem Offshore he will have the global leadership responsibility for HR, with focus on further development of the existing HR strategies, processes, and systems, with more. His responsibilities also include focus on business culture, and he wishes for Siem Offshore to continue to be an attractive employer.

 – To me it is important that people want to come to work every day. I also believe that curiosity helps us to learn and grow and can be used as a tool to become the best version of ourselves, he says, and adds:

– As we are a global company, I hope to bring the organization even more together and create a strong sense of belonging across the offices in the various regions.
